Treefort Music Fest hits various locations in downtown Boise starting Wednesday, March 23. In each of its previous 4 years the 5-day festival has grown, including more and more branches or 'forts' -- Yogafort, Hackfort, and (new this year) Foodfort, to name a few.
Eric Gilbert is one of the organizers who has been working tirelessly to schedule hundreds of bands to play in different venues all across the City of Trees.
"The initial intention was just to help catalyze the local music scene, the local culture scene, and it's been embraced well," he said.
Now it embraces so many other facets -- beer, comedy, film, skating, and storytelling.
One of this year's Treefort performers, Tisper, played a live preview performance on Good Morning Idaho. Take a listen in the segment above (after the interview with Gilbert). He will be playing Saturday, March 26 at El Korah Shrine starting at 5 pm.
