Nampa announces State of the City date

NAMPA, Idaho — Mayor Debbie Kling invites the community to Nampa’s State of the City on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Nampa Civic Center’s John Brandt Performing Arts Theater. This year’s theme is “The Power of One.”

Nampa’s State of the City address is free to attend and seating within the theatre is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Immediately following the address, the community is invited to a reception with appetizers prepared by students of the Nampa School District culinary arts program from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost of the reception will be $5 and the deadline to RSVP is March 5 for food planning purposes.

The 2020 State of the City Presenting Sponsors are Brown & Caldwell, HDR, Saint Alphonsus, Saltzer Health and St. Luke’s. The Reception Sponsor is Republic Services. A portion of the proceeds from sponsorships benefit the Mayor’s Teen Council program.
