The City of Nampa announced Tuesday its Halloween event scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to expected cold weather.
The city's Halloween event, which was scheduled for Saturday in downtown Nampa, is canceled due to the forecasted rain, high winds and temperatures in the 40s. The plan was to show a movie in Lloyd Square at dusk with food vendors available, however the large screen should not be used with strong winds, according to a news release from the city.
