Nampa has a feathery problem. Here's how city officials are hoping to fix it

NAMPA, Idaho — The City of Nampa has formed a committee to help teach residents how to keep crows away.

Nampa has been having issues with flocks of crows for several years now. Last year's reports say over three thousand crows caused a big clean up problem for Nampa residents.

The city tried using infrared lasers and police drones to chase the birds away, but they kept coming back--so they're hoping the committee will be a more permanent solution.

Most of the crow problems happen from late fall to the spring.
