Nampa man arrested after making bomb threats

NAMPA, Idaho — A bomb threat in Nampa Thursday evening led to the arrest of 22-year-old Nampa resident, Grant C. Stevenson. The individual sending the message about the threat stated there was an explosive device in the area of the 1700 block of South Juniper Street.

First responders, investigators, government organizations and safety crews included, Nampa Police Officers, Detectives, Nampa Fire Department, Canyon County Paramedics, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Region 3 HazMat, Idaho State Police and the 101st Civil Support Team Idaho National Guard responded to the scene and began investigating the incident.

Stevenson has been charged with terrorism, a felony, and 2nd-degree stalking, a misdemeanor. He was booked into the Canyon County jail on those charges.
