NAMPA, Idaho — While investigating a Thursday night shooting on the 3300 block of Park Ridge Drive Thursday night, Nampa Police officers learned about a second suspect involved.
The individual, a 16-year-old male, was arrested Friday, January 3 on four charges of aggravated assault. He has not been identified.
Police say the victims included two 15-year-old males and two females ages 15 and 16. All of the victims were in the same car at the time of the incident.
"The victims in this assault were being pursued at the time of the shooting by Christopher Baker (pictured above) and the 16-year-old male arrested [Friday]," Nampa Police said in a press release. "Baker was attempting to locate a family member who was in the vehicle. The victims stopped their car in the 3300 block of Park Ridge Drive just before the shooting happened."
One individual in this vehicle was struck by gunfire as we previously reported. Investigators are still diligently following up on information related to this case and the investigation remains ongoing. The 16-year-old male has been transferred to the custody of the Canyon County Juvenile Detention Center in Caldwell.
