A man has been charged with first degree murder in the stabbing death of a 23-year-old woman. She died, after being stabbed multiple times on the 2700 block of Berlin Place in Nampa.

According to Nampa PD Sergeant Joe Ramirez, a frantic 911 call from a neighbor came in around 3:49 pm after hearing an argument.

Police arrived on scene and found a woman who had been apparently been stabbed in the middle of the street.

The woman was transported by paramedics to a local hospital, but she died shortly after arriving.

Police arrested 23-year-old Brandon Shaw who is now in the Gem County jail on a first-degree murder charge.

According to neighbors, the woman was a mother who had recently moved into the home, but no children were present at the time of the incident. Police say it appears Shaw also lived at the house.
