Nampa Women's Business Center holds its first event since opening

Start up costs, overhead and uncertainties in the economy can make starting a new business a real challenge--especially if you're a woman.

That's why Idaho Senator Jim Risch hosted the Rural Women's Business Roundtable Wednesday. Women from all walks of life gathered to discuss some of the problems they face in getting a business off the ground, and how to keep that business successful in a competitive market.

This was the first event held at the recently opened Nampa Women's Business Center, which the senator helped establish earlier this year.
