National Hunger Action Month has inspired the Boise Co-op to provide matching donations up to $2,500. People can pick up a plate and respond to two questions - what hunger prevents them from doing, and what freedom from hunger allows them to do - and then the selfies can be uploaded to become part of a national campaign.

The Idaho Food Bank says that every dollar can provide 4 meals to the hungry.

The Boise Co-op says one in six people go hungry in Idaho each day - and one of four children in Idaho go hungry.
