Chip Gaines, co-host of HGTV's popular "Fixer Upper" series, has an aerodynamic new look.

Gaines's wife and co-host Joanna shared a picture of the TV star with his head shaved standing among a group of patients at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Target House in Memphis, Tennessee on Wednesday.

Last week, Gaines announced he would cut his long hair if people donated to St. Jude.

"Let's come together to do something big to bless these kiddos," Gaines wrote on Instagram. "The more money we raise over the next four days, the shorter my hair goes. That's a promise. And, who knows, maybe if you really exceed my expectations...I'll buzz it all off."

Gaines dubbed the fundraiser "Operation: Haircut" and ran it through the Magnolia Foundation website, a philanthropic group started by he and Joanna.

It’s come to my attention that most of you hate my current hairstyle. But how MUCH do you hate it? Now’s the time to put your money where your mouth is. ⠀ ⠀ So here's the deal: Next week, Jo and I are visiting the beautiful kids at Target House with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. No family ever pays @StJude for treatment, travel or food—so basically, we want to bring them a giant check from YOU to help cover costs—lets come together to do something big to bless these kiddos. ⠀ ⠀ Donate to @StJude through the link in my profile, and the more money we raise over the next FOUR days, the shorter my hair goes. That's a promise. And, who knows, maybe if you really exceed my expectations...I'll buzz it all off. #OperationHaircut

The couple didn't announce exactly how much money was donated but, obviously, it was enough to get Gaines to go totally bald.

"We are leaving Memphis changed," Joanna Gaines wrote on Instagram Wednesday. "Thank you for letting us be a part of your home at Target House. We are cheering you on every step of the way."
