If you're looking for some outdoor fun for the family, Zoo Boise was the place to be Saturday.
The annual "Zoo Daze" event kicked off Saturday, June 8 at 9 AM with lots of activities for kids of all ages, including animal encounters and arts and crafts.
Just in time for the event, a new plaza and gibbon exhibit was open for zoo guests to explore.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of popular children's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the zoo followed the book's theme with lots of photo ops with the caterpillar himself!
