BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho State Tax Commission's new Boise office will be open for regular hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 15. The Boise office moved in 2019 to 11321 W. Chinden Blvd. State income tax returns are due on June 15 and federal taxes are due a month later, on July 15.

Tax Commission employees will be outside the office with bins to accept your Idaho tax returns. Employees will be wearing gloves and masks, and you do not have to get out of your car or need postage.

You can visit the customer service counter inside to make payments, have tax-related questions answered and get state tax forms. You are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines inside the office. If you do not feel like going inside the office, you can call 208-334-7660 in the Boise area or toll-free at 800-972-7660 for help.

You can also visit the Tax Commission website to find tax forms, make payments and get answers to tax questions. The website has links to software providers that offer free e-filing options. The site also Quick Pay, a free service that allows you to make an online payment without creating an account.
