A wildfire sparked Sunday afternoon in Malheur County, Oregon has burned more than 3,500 acres.
The Cherry Road Fire is burning near the Succor Creek State Recreation Area, two miles east of the Owyhee Reservoir.
Fifteen single engine tankers, three helicopters and more than 12 fire engine are working the fire. Fire officials do not expect the fire to be contained by Sunday night.
The BLM and Malheur County fire resources are responding.
Brush and grass are fueling the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
