For the past three years, Idaho Gives Day has given Idahoans a unique opportunity to support their favorite nonprofits.
In that short span of time, the online fundraising challenge has raised more than $2.3 million for agencies statewide. Six On Your Side and Fox 9 has been a proud partner in that effort.
Right now is the time for nonprofits to sign up!
There is no limit on how many organizations can participate.
Coming up in May, anyone can donate to the nonprofit of their choice online. This program is also a good opportunity to learn more about nonprofits you never knew existed.
"Idaho Gives is just a really great opportunity for us to show support to our nonprofits. Idaho wouldn't be the great state that it is without these nonprofits," said Erin Hutto with the Idaho Nonprofit Center that oversees the program. "So, it's a day for us to celebrate, to come together and to give to those organizations that do so much for our state."
Any registered, 501-C3 organization in Idaho can participate.
You just need to head to the Idaho Nonprofit Center's website to sign up: http://www.idahononprofits.org/idaho-gives-registration. The deadline is Friday, April 8. For assistance, dial (208) 424-2229.
After that, the public will be able to jump on the same website to look at who all is participating.
Idaho Gives Day is set for Thursday, May 5. Prizes will also be awarded to nonprofits throughout the day.
Starting on April 5, donations can be scheduled online.
