BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Fire Department is trying to figure out what started a fire in southeast Boise that extensively damaged a home.
It happened Monday afternoon at S Minuteman Way and E Bergeson.
"There is fire damage to kitchen and smoke and water damage through the home," the department tweeted.

Luckily, an off-duty Boise firefighter was nearby and jumped in to help a woman who was inside and her pets to safety.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
