Idaho authorities identified the body recovered from the Snake River on May 30. The Bonneville County Sheriff's office says 23-year-old Kayla Davis slipped on some driftwood and fell into the water on May 9, according to details given to police by her husband Walker Thomas. Reports say Davis had recently moved to Idaho Falls from Pocatello and got married earlier this year. The Idaho Falls police department said an investigation into circumstances surrounding Davis' death is ongoing.
