BOISE, Idaho — Old Boise N-Scale Model Railroad held the 19th Annual Holiday Open House in downtown Boise on Saturday.
Model train enthusiasts off all ages got the chance to watch model trains run through re-creations of scenic towns, mountains and industries.
“We’ve been here about 20 years and every year we change and grow. This is actually N scale, the smaller size, but with today everything going to now with technology and miniaturization, you can do a lot more in a small package," said Jim Brostmeyer, "They have more bells and whistle‘s and signals and LED lights now so many more functions that you can do to make the hobby more for fulfilling."
The event was free and even Santa was even around for a while.
