One dead after multiple vehicle crash north of Middleton

MIDDLETON, Idaho — One person is dead after a multiple vehicle crash north of Middleton on October 24. Idaho State Police said the crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Galloway Road and Old Highway 30 in Canyon County.

Tesia L. Hyde, 32, of Burley was driving west on Galloway Road in a 2016 Jeep Patriot when they failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection. Ramon Aispuro SIlva, 20, of Nampa was driving north on Old Highway 30 in a 2006 Toyota Scion when he hit the Jeep, sending it off the roadway.

Louis M. Higby, 67, of Payette was driving south on Old Highway 30 in a 2018 Ram 350 pickup, pulling a 2011 Sooner Trailer loaded with cattle hit the Toyota in the intersection, sending both vehicles off the roadway.

At the time of the crash, Hyde was wearing a seatbelt. She was taken by ground ambulance to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell. Aispuro Silva was also wearing a seatbelt and died from his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Higby was not wearing a seatbelt. His passenger, Jo Ann Higby, 58, of Payette was wearing a seatbelt. She was taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Nampa Medical Center in Nampa.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
