BOISE, Idaho — A 54-year-old man is dead after a fire broke out in a Boise motor home Friday evening.
Crews with the Boise Fire Department responded to calls for a motor home fire with a victim on the 2100 block of Allumbaugh St. around 7:45 p.m. Friday.
"Crews immediately attempted a rescue in the doorway of the fully involved structure," a press release stated. "The victim was not within reach of the doorway. A hose line was quickly deployed allowing firefighters to gain entry. The occupant was found deceased in the rear of the motor home."
The Ada County Coroner says Henry Loader passed away from thermal injuries and smoke inhalation.
Officials say neighbors attempted to extinguish the blaze with a garden hose prior to firefighters' arrival with no affect.
Investigators are still working to determine a cause for this fire.
