BOISE, Idaho — Bogus Basin is going green!
The non-profit resort announced it will use 100% starting this year, because it will only buy renewable energy from Idaho Power.
The announcement fits with the power company's pledge to provide only clean energy to all of its customers by 2045, and Bogus Basin says its efforts will cut 2,700 tons of Carbond Dioxide emissions per year.
Bogus has also started a shuttle system to cut down on the number of cars driving up the mountain, and it also offers carpool benefits to vehicles that carry three or more skiers to the mountain.
