BOISE, Idaho — This week, the Governor's Salmon Workgroup will hold two meetings. Those meetings, along with a public comment period, will be held remotely via Zoom.
On Tuesday, April 28, the meeting will include Workgroup discussion, presentations on hatchery reforms and processes, genetic monitoring of hatchery and wild salmon stocks, hatchery management and the Endangered Species Act. The meeting is set for 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Public comment for this meeting is scheduled for 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, April 29, the Workgroup will report on subgroup progress and discuss homework assignments and next steps. That meeting is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The upcoming Workgroup Zoom meeting be the eighth in the series. The Workgroup will hold several additional meetings throughout Idaho, as health guidelines permit, to provide opportunities to share perspectives on salmon policy in 2020.
