And who can forget pizza on this day!
Delivery drivers were busy today throughout the Treasure Valley. At the Idaho Pizza Company restaurant on Fairview, they had five drivers on staff to help keep up with demand. But, in general, the dining room has steady business on Sundays. Surprisingly, their busiest day of the year is on Valentine’s Day.
"So, when they call and order a heart-shaped pizza, and it's for a delivery, we will fill it out and it will say: Roses are red, violets are blue, this heart-shaped pizza was from whomever to you," said Craig Quintero with Idaho Pizza Company.
Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, one week from today.
