IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Idaho Falls’ largest and most terrifying haunted attraction is now open for the 2019 Halloween season.

“We’ve remodeled about 80% of the attraction for 2019,” said Brent Wilson, Planet Doom’s General Manager. “This includes the addition of over a dozen new professional animatronics and new theatrical facades and sets. We are very proud of the new haunt and we look forward to a great Halloween season.”

The newly-rebuilt 32,000 square foot haunted attraction features “Hollywood-quality” special effects.

Like its predecessor Dr. Slaughter’s House of Terror, Planet Doom is the primary funding source for the Idaho Falls-Bonneville County D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program, which serves Bonneville County School District 93 and the Swan Valley School District, as well as the White Pine and Taylor Crossing charter schools.

The haunted attraction features a 45-minute walkthrough attraction with over 100 scare actors, a “queue line entertainment” dance team, and a carnival-style “zombie brain toss” game – all for only $12.00 per person.
