MARSING, Idaho — A 74-year-old male homeowner is dead after a shooting south of Marsing.
Officers were called to "a suspicious person incident" late Friday night, according to Owyhee County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say a fight broke out before midnight and shots were fired.
Two men were taken into custody after the incident A 37-year-old male was taken to the Owyhee County Detention Facility. The other suspect, a 50-year-old male, was taken to a hospital and is being treated for injuries.
No officers were involved in the shooting.
The investigation is still ongoing. No other information has been released at this time.
