A 69-year-old man has died after being struck by a jeep while riding his bike.

Idaho State Police say George Grant, of Caldwell, was riding his bicycle on the westbound shoulder of US20 near Franklin road in Nampa around 3:00 Saturday afternoon when he was hit.

Police say 62-year-old Sherri Sass was driving westbound in a Jeep Cherokee when she drove partially onto the right shoulder and struck Grant.
