Police say they have identified and interviewed a suspect in connection with the battery of an elderly couple and an investigation is underway.

Eagle Police are searching for a man they suspect of pushing an elderly man down an embankment and shoving an elderly woman to the ground.
Police say a dispute began when an elderly couple asked the man to put his dog on a leash on the Greenbelt behind Merrill Park. The suspect allegedly threw the 83-year-old man down a nearby embankment and shoved the 72-year-old woman to the ground.
The suspect is described as a man in his 50's, around 6-feet tall and around 220 lbs. Police say he was wearing a pink shirt and khaki-colored pants.
