ORIGINAL STORY: The Ada County Sheriff's Office found out about a submerged car in Lucky Peak at 8 Thursday morning. A spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office, Patrick Orr, says the vehicle was reported stolen and looks like it had been there for a long time due to algae growth.
Orr says there was not anybody in the vehicle. Water levels in Lucky Peak have been dropping, leading to the car becoming visible.
The car was found at milepost 18 on Highway 21. Officials are now working trying to find the best way to remove the vehicle from the water.
