IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- Idaho Falls police say a waiter at an Ammon restaurant kept a customer's credit card and used it to make purchases at Home Depot.
Local news 8 reported that 23-year-old Ryan Kreimann-Duane was arrested this week on a warrant for fraudulent use of a card and possession of stolen property.
Police began investigating a credit card theft in February after a Rexburg woman reported someone used her credit card to make $740 in purchases at a Home Depot.
Officers tracked the card to Kreimann-Duane.
Police say he stole the card at an Ammon restaurant. The woman used her credit card to pay for her food. Kreimann-Duane processed the purchase but never gave the card back.
The woman didn't realize he hadn't returned the card.
