The Idaho Transportation Department has extended the public comment period on the department's five year plan which calls for widening one mile of Chinden from Eagle Road to Locust Grove. If you previously commented on the project, ITD may not have seen those comments due to a glitch in the comment portal.
The project is not expected to be complete until 2021, but the City of Meridian has been working with ITD to speed up the project.
