CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — A high-speed chase on November 20 ended in the arrest of a Meridian teenager. Payette County Deputy Robinson recognized Michael Lowery, 18, and knew there was an active warrant out of Canyon County for a probation violation.
Deputy Robinson attempted to stop Lowery on eastbound I-84 in a silver 2002 Pontiac. Lowery did not stop and Payette County Deputies followed, at one point reaching 100 miles per hour on Old Highway 30 in Canyon County.
The Canyon County Sheriff's Office and Idaho State Police took over the chase in Canyon County and eventually arrested Lowery.
Lowery is charged in Canyon County with Eluding a Police Officer and Probation Violation.
