BOISE, Idaho — With the postponement of the Race to Robie Creek occurring due to the spread of the coronavirus, organizers are saying they are "heartbroken" to share that the half-marathon won't happen as scheduled on April 18.

The 13-mile trek up Aldape Summit is famously hard to run and difficult to get into.

"A race like this. It has such history," said Rich Harris, owner of Bandanna Running. "I think it's come as kind of a shock. Oh, my gosh, Robie Creek's gonna be postponed. If not, I don't think canceled is a word we're using."

Currently, there is no rescheduled date for the Race to Robie Creek.
