BOISE, Ida. — One of Boise's most recognizable hotels is getting a major makeover, including a name change.
The Red Lion Downtowner is getting ready for a $10 million overhaul, complete with a new name and new prices. Renovations are expected to start in Spring 2020 before wrapping up in 2022.
The hotel will be known as Delta by Marriott Downtowner and will start charging premium rates at the W. Fairview Avenue location.
