The actions of the Bundy’s armed stand-off in Oregon are drawing heat not only from those on the political left, but from self-proclaimed patriot groups as well.

The 3% of Idaho and Oregon are speaking out against the armed takeover.

"A lot of patriots are freedom-loving Americans,” said Chris McIntire, a spokesman for 3% of Idaho. “They work in their communities. They love their communities. They love what this country stands for and they know their rights and they want to stand up for them. There are fringe elements out there. There are extremists out there who do hold some of our ideas but they are willing to take them much farther as in this situation."

McIntire said the Bundy faction hijacked their rally supporting the Hammond family over the weekend. He said his patriot group could not condone the actions of the Bundy's instead calling for the rule of law to prevail.

The 3% hopes the situation will be resolved peacefully with no force used by either side. Stay tuned to Six On Your Side for the very latest.
