MERIDIAN, Idaho — Roaring Springs opened for business on Saturday, which was the first day they were permitted to do so per Governor Little's four stage reopening plan.
Hundreds showed up for the record high forecast opening, with traffic backing up down Overland Road, and a substantial crowd outside of the gates. Little to no social distancing was observed outside of the main entrance.
Temperatures are being taken prior to entering the park, and all employees are required to wear masks. Hand sanitizing stations have been set up throughout the park, and Plexiglass sheilds have been put up in areas where staff may interact with guests.
The waterpark debuted it's new $1.3 million attraction, the "Snake River Run," and Wahooz also opened their indoor attractions to the public.
