LAS VEGAS — No. 25 San Jose State will face perennial conference powerhouse Boise State in the Mountain West championship on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The game is usually played on the higher seed’s home field but this year it will be held at Sam Boyd Stadium. The stadium became the temporary home for the Spartans after restrictions in their home county forced the team to relocate.
The teams were scheduled to meet during the regular season on Nov. 28 but that game was canceled due to COVID-19 issues and declared a no contest.
