Class in the Notus School District will resume on Monday after a flu outbreak. The district released an announcement Thursday that they are experiencing a high number of students and staff with the flu. They will be disinfecting the buildings and give the students the weekend to rest and feel better.
The Junior high boys basketball game versus Rimrock was cancelled, but all other high school games schedule for today and Saturday will be played as scheduled. School will resume on Monday, January 28.
The Southwest District Health office will offer flu vaccinations on Tuesday at Notus Elementary for free from 1 to 4 pm. If you want your child to participate, click here for the permission slip in English and here for the permission slip in Spanish. The forms will also be handed out to all students on Monday. The clinic is open to all staff, parent, and community member as well.
