Proof that you're never too old to get out and play was on display at Wahooz on Monday. While some may think go karts are the domain of young kids, some local seniors would disagree.
Some older "kids" from Overland Senior Living knows better than that.
"(I was) a little bit hesitant, but excited at the same time," said Ambie Ballard. It was her first time behind the wheel of a go kart and she wasn't out for a Sunday drive.
"Did it get competitive? Oh, Yes," she said. "The more I passed, the funner it got."
"Many of them haven't driven in very many years," said Overland Court Senior Living's Keren Dehart. "So, they got off the track with a lot of smiles."
Ballard had so much fun on the track, she even tried the climbing wall inside. \
"You can still be a kid. Live life to the fullest," she said.
And never let off the gas.
