BOISE, Idaho — While many businesses remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, animal shelters and rescue groups are feeling impacts as well. In Boise, Simply Cats Adoption Center is getting through the closure by finding cats forever homes--all from the comfort of your home!
Through virtual adoptions, you can "visit" the cage-free facility and "meet" the cats. All you have to do is head to the Simply Cats website, submit an application, and one of the adoption staff members will help you meet them. That includes showing off the cat's personality by playing with toys, giving them treats, and other things you would normally be able to do in-person.
Simply Cats's biggest fundraiser of the year--Catsino--was recently postponed. It's now set for August 14. You can find more information here.
