CALDWELL, Idaho — The South West District Health special meeting rescheduled for tomorrow morning is canceled again.
The meeting first meeting was supposed to take place on July 16 virtually but was canceled due to protestors who showed up the Caldwell office as the meeting was starting.
Days after the meeting was canceled, the Southwest District Health (SWDH) board announces another new special meeting for July 21, which is now canceled.
In a news release SWDH says "Due to continued security concerns and to ensure the meeting is as safe and accessible as possible the Southwest District Health Special Board of Health meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at the Canyon County Administration Building, 111 N. 11th Avenue, Caldwell, ID, 83605 has been canceled."
The board was set to discuss health measures, including a possible mask mandate for its coverage area, including Canyon County.
The meeting is set to be rescheduled again for a later date and time, which is undetermined.
