UPDATE: A wildfire burning in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area has destroyed approximately 730 acres.
Fire officials released a revised estimate after an overflight of the fire.
U.S. Forest Service officials say the Stanley Lake Campground has been evacuated due to the proximity of the fire. They are calling it the Dry Creek Fire.
Officials say the fire started just after noon on Saturday and was caused by a lightning storm that went through the area.
Numerous aircraft, engines, and firefighters are working to suppress the fire.
Highway 21 was closed from Cape Horn Road to Highway 75 but it is now open to traffic. However, officials urge the public to drive slowly due to smoke, stay on the highway and be careful because there are engines and firefighters working along the road.
The Incident Command Post has been established at Stanley Lake Campground.
