BOISE, Idaho — We find ourselves talking about growth every day, and two new surveys dealing with growth had some interesting results.
The annual Idaho Public Police Surveyand the annual Treasure Valley Surveyshowed more and more people agree: the Treasure Valley is growing too fast.
"We've asked that question now for three years in a row," said Assistant Professor of the Boise State School of Service, Jeffery Lyons. "When we were asking it back in 2016, people were kind of mixed between it's growing too fast and it's about right. This year, or last fall survey I should say, we saw that the number who said it's growing too fast jumped up to over seventy percent. It was a really big change."
Lyons added specifically people would like to see more accessible public transportation in the Treasure Valley.
