BOISE — Organizations which provide domestic violence services in Idaho are partnering with Stinker Stores and their generous customers.

On Monday, the “Piece of Hope” campaign kicked off. Customers can donate and hear about the organizations in the community that benefit children who have been impacted by domestic violence or sexual abuse.

The money will be used to fund services and programs throughout the state that focus on prevention of children being exposed to violence in their homes.

"We don't realize that we can do so much with just a little,” said Steven Cook, regional manager for Stinker Stores. “Cents to a dollar donations really help increase these organizations’ opportunity to help those in need."
The campaign runs through the end of the month. Last year, customers blew away expectations, exceeding the goal by 30 percent and donating nearly $140,000.
