BOISE, Idaho — Stinker Stores across Idaho are gearing up for the holidays by giving to others. Starting November 6, the company is launching another year of the "Stomp Out Hunger" campaign.

Customers will have the chance to donate a dollar at the register to help the Idaho Foodbank. The donations come at a pivotal time as the food bank hopes to provide nearly three million meals throughout November and December.

"The Idaho Foodbank serves 200,000 people each and every month in the state of Idaho with their food needs," said Charley Jones, president and owner of Stinker Stores. "This campaign of raising, rounded, $100,000 will make available 500,000 meals."

The company will match donations up to $25,000. One dollar goes a long way when you donate to the Idaho Foodbank, as each dollar provides four meals to Idahoans in need. The "Stomp Out Hunger" campaign runs through November 16.
