MERIDIAN, Idaho — With Governor Little's stay-at-home order, local businesses are getting creative when it comes to making money, while also helping others. The owners of the Sunrise Cafe in Meridian are now offering an online grocery ordering service.
"It's about supplying the community with what they need to help them get through this time and make it so that you don't have to go out to the store to survive, to get product into your house," said Boomer Godsill, Sunrise Cafe owner.
Godsill says he is handling around 200 orders a day. As for his regular business, you can still buy takeout food at the Sunrise Cafe locations on Fairview Avenue in Boise and on Main Street in downtown Meridian. The other four restaurants have temporarily closed.
