HORSESHOE BEND, Idaho — On Sunday afternoon, Horseshow Bend Volunteer Fire Department received what appeared to be a homemade explosive device.
In a Facebook post, the department says the device was found at one of the turnouts alongside HWY 55.
A Good Samaritan took the device to city hall before dispatch was contacted.
Although the help was appreciated, the Horseshoe Bend Fire Department urges the public to not touch or move anything that could be potentially explosive.
