DRIGGS, Idaho (AP) -- A man who police say killed his pregnant girlfriend at her cabin near Driggs has entered a not guilty plea.

KIDK-TV reports that 39-year-old Erik Ohlson of Jackson, Wyoming, exercised his to right to remain silent when in court on Friday, leading the court to enter a not guilty plea on his behalf for two counts of first first-degree murder following the July 5 fatal shooting of Jennifer Nalley.

Police say Ohlson told detectives he consumed alcohol before going to Nalley's cabin and shooting her multiple times without saying a word.

An autopsy found she was shot several times by a .45-caliber handgun.

Nalley has a physics degree and is a founding member of the Texas Rollergirls roller derby league.
