There's a very proud little piece of Chicago right in downtown Meridian.
It's an authentic Chicago hot dog stand with some amazing Chicago style food.
And the owner, a former Chicagoan, says it's been a busy few days thanks to the Cubs participation in the World Series.
Steve Dimaria owns the stand at Main and Fairview. "A lot of people from the mid-west came out here and are buying a lot of hot dogs," he says, "for some reason, they thought it was good luck to watch the game eating food from back home."
Dimaria lives in Idaho now, but strictly as an ambassador for Chicago.
"I wanted to introduce Idaho to a taste of Chicago, that's all i wanted." he says, "I took a little bit of home and brought it out here."
If you visit Taste of Chicago, just remember to bring your appetite and some cash.
