KUNA, Idaho — The Farmstead in Kuna is best known for fall festivities, but the family-owned farm has completely transformed for the holiday season.

"At Lowe Family Farmstead, we're best known for our fall festival with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and hayrides and other fall attractions," Hillary Lowe explained. "But this year, we've decided to invite people for Christmas on the Farm; So parents with young kids can visit with Santa, they can take their own photos."

Kids can also decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus, meet live reindeer named Juniper and Evergreen, and go on a tractor-drawn sleigh ride.

"The purpose for everything we do is to connect families to the farm, but also to create lasting memories and people are really used to doing that when they come for the fall," Lowe said. "This is just another opportunity for that special time of Christmas to be able to bring people together."

The seasonal event will be open again next Friday, December 20 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 21 from 2:00-9:00 p.m.
