BOISE, Idaho — With social distancing being in place, movie theaters have had to temporarily shut down, with The Flicks in downtown Boise being one of them. But, so COVID-19 wouldn't put it totally out of business, the owner decided to bring the theater to you.
The Flicks is now streaming films it was originally schedule to show this spring. First up is the film The Roads Not Taken starring Javier Bardem. It will cost you $12 to stream it, with half the money going to the theater.
"We're just posting them for people to A. help The Flicks a little bit and also get to see the movies that they probably would have seen in the theater," said Carole Skinner, owner of The Flicks.
To watch the film, or any of the films the theater will be streaming, head to The Flicks website. Skinner says she will continue showing movies online until social distancing restrictions are lifted and she is allowed to reopen.
