Local movie theatre, "The Flicks" is turning off the popcorn machine and shutting up shop starting Thursday evening.
"We just think it's the best thing to do for our customers and our employees. We'll take care of them, and I think we're just going to soldier on without our customers until we feel like it's safe to open again," said Carol Skinner, president of the theatre.
The theatre will still be showing movies until Thursday evening, and say they're taking every precaution they can to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including a deep clean of the building.
They're also renting out some of the DVDs from their extensive collection for people to enjoy at home.
